First Angelversary

One year has passed since we last kissed your sweet face goodbye.
Our hearts still ache, the days are long, and the tears are still in our eyes.
We know where you are, yet we still miss you here--your smile, your touch,
your presence in our lives.
They tell us that time will heal our wound--the huge hole in our lives where you were
But we know it will not fill the void in our lives that somedays tries to suck us right in.

We placed our trust in the Lord. We know you are with Him and that He loved you more than we did. That's saying a lot, for you're the beat of our heart; yet we know that He does, that's for sure!!
So we get up each day, miss you and say, "We will breathe in the air one more time".
We know it won't be long til we meet on that shore and once again hold you in our arms.
So, until then, our sweet child, stay close by the Master's side. He'll take good care of you!
And when our life is through our family circle will be complete once again.
Loving you more than yesterday but not as much as tomorrow,

Jeff put the beautiful red roses on your grave in the picture above for your birthday which came just three days before your angelversary. He loves you still and always will!!
